Mango Seed Butter

Mango Seed butter is extracted from the kernels of the mango by cold-pressing. It is softer in texture than shea and coconut butter and solid at room temperature. Mango butter shares a lot of the same uses as shea and cocoa butter; however the fatty acid profile varies slightly with an enhanced level of antioxidants and vitamins. The lighter nature of mango butter makes it a popular choice for neck, facial and foot areas, while shea and cocoa butters can be a little too heavy.

Abundantly filled with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants including calcium, potassium, vitamin A, E and C and several B vitamins, mango butter is effectively used for dryness or skin flakes to assist in moisturizing after exposure to sun and other harsh conditions.Mango butter does not smell like mangoes since it is not extracted from the pulp of the fruit but from the kernel.
